Jacques Bermon Webster II (born April 30, 1991) more popularly known as his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott) is a popular American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. The stage name he uses is the name of a beloved uncle combined with the name of one of his idols, Kid Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi).In 2012, Scott signed his first major-label contract with Epic Records and a publishing agreement with Kanye West's GOOD Music. He signed a joint-recording agreement with Epic and T.I. He also signed a record agreement with Epic and T.I. Scott's first album, Owl Pharaoh was self-released on his own in 2013. In 2013, Scott self-released the mixtape Owl Phaoh. A follow-up mixtape called Days Before Rodeo was released in 2014. Rodeo (2015), his debut studio album was the first album to feature the smash single "Antidote". The album that followed, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first album to reach the top spot on the Billboard 200. The next year, Scott released a collaborative album featuring Quavo entitled Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho under the name group Huncho Jack.In 2018, his third studio album, Astroworld, was released to great acclaim. It also featured the debut Billboard Hot 100 number one single, "Sicko Mode" (featuring Drake). Scott's Cactus Jack Records release the compilation album JackBoys in the latter part of 2019. The album debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. After the single "Franchise" featuring Scott (featuring Young Thug) and M.I.A. were released, it was a top hit on the 200-page chart on Billboard. in 2020, Scott became the first artist on the Hot 100 to have three songs reach the top spot in less than a year.
